The Process
Building Your Course of Action
Step 1: GRIT Work
Grit is perseverance, resilience, and toughness. GRIT work is learning how to work through discomforts to allow access into the flow state.
- Sauna
- Ice Baths
- Hot Yoga
- Pool Workouts
- Guided Breath Work
- Meditation
- Journaling
- Vulnerable Conversations
A performance coach guides you through a number of different techniques to help you learn skills and cultivate the mindset needed to achieve your goals.
Step 2: Enter the Flow State
Flow is a term coined by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
In the flow state, your mind, body, and spirit are operating at the peak of human consciousness. Achieving flow requires finding the right balance between challenge and skill.
Performance coaching is an effective way to guide individuals into the flow state more consistently. With practice and support, individuals learn to enter the flow state more easily and experience the benefits of peak performance and decision making.
Step 3: Tap In
When you “tap in” to your intuition, it is a powerful tool in achieving your goals and overcoming obstacles. We have learned to prioritize logic and reason over our gut instincts or intuition. GRIT work such as meditation, breath work, hot/cold contrast therapy, and working with a coach are helpful.
One of the key benefits of trusting your intuition is the ability to access a higher level of understanding and trust.
